We bought a CTL label applicator to apply labels to flat foil pouches back in 2019. Between 2019 and 2024 we have applied over 14 million pouch labels with this single unit. Over 5 years of operation we have not had any mechanical or electrical failures. The CTL has saved approximately $600,000 in labor over 5 years since we no longer have to hand apply these pouch labels. The downtime required to change label sizes and adjust the machine from one product size is minimal and the labeler is simple enough to use that new employees can be trained on its operation in a matter of minutes. We are so pleased with the performance of the CTL that we are in the process of purchasing a second unit to keep up with new customer demand.

This tape dispenser upgrade for our company has been an instant improvement! With the duct tape we are using, our previous tape dispensers were destroying themselves within a few weeks. We purchased one model 6115 unit to trial and now, 2 months later, it is still performing with no issues! We have since purchased another 12 to utilize throughout our entire campus. The auto feature that precuts the tape and presents it to the operator is a great feature. There are sensors to detect the tape after it has been cut. If the tape is not detected, the machine faults out and puts itself in manual mode. This is protecting the machine to continue to feed tape and breaking itself. This is a huge improvement compared to other brands. The metal gears are a necessity for the tackiness of tape we are using.

The support from Ben Clements & Sons, Inc. from day one of conversating about our dilemma was met with great communication and recommendations. It didnt end there though. Through our month of initial testing, we had constant support leading up to purchasing a large quantity and getting them shipped out quickly. They have made myself feel like family with their enthusiastic communication along with providing tremendous documentation about the tape dispenser.
